Bilfinger Noell delivers high-tech experiment magnet for particle physics
After several years of engineering and manufacturing phase, the Bilfinger Noell GmbH delivered the superconducting PERC magnet system to the Research Neutron Source Heinz Maier-Leibnitz (FRM II) at the Technical University of Munich.
“We are proud to have once again designed and manufactured a key component for science in the field of particle physics,” said Eckhard Theisen, Bilfinger Noell project manager.
PERC is a new experiment in the field of low-energy particle physics at the FRM-II.
